Update after 6 weeks of IPP

IPP is quite a boredom. Although there's task to work on, they went along the line of little job that is done by part-timers. For the 1st 3 weeks, due to the fact that there are 2 part-timers around, I am not given anything constructive to do. The staff there have no time to teach me how to do their stuff, and are not willing to waste that time since the part-timers can do it. However, after they left the company for another job, I was bombarded with their workload. Overtime and no lunch became a common thing (never really eat lunch in school anyway). Was thinking if asking them to get another part-timer, but my stupid pride refuse to corporate (equals to admitting that I cannot handle). Tasks, which are repeated over and over, includes filing, bank and AP reconciliation, stringing files, box up documents blah blah... Been checking the invoice and sale orders files for missing document and if they are in running order for these whole week (over 90 ring files) . Conclusion: Accounting work really IS boring! Cannot picture myself doing this kinda work for long....
